Mario on Rope isn't a platform game, despite appearances, but instead is a simple skill game for all the family in which your mission is to make Super Mario cross the tightrope with the aid of a pole to hold in his hands.

Help Super Mario to avoid falling into the abyss! While Super Mario is on the rope, his enemies will try to off balance him, get in his way, crawl on his pole, etc. So, Super Mario will have to move forward, retrace his steps, balance, and if necessary, jump to get to the end of the rope.
